Sarah McLachlan Announces New Tour

Earlier today, Sarah McLachlan announced details of the upcoming “Sarah and Friends Tour”. I know you’re probably thinking: "Wait, isn’t that just the Lilith Fair with a new name?" I thought so too, but this one is different.

The concert will be split into two sets. The first set will include the “Friends” of the tour, with Sarah joining them on stage for some of the songs. The second set will be Sarah and her band playing some of her biggest hits and a few new songs from her latest album, “Laws of Illusion”. Not only will fans be treated to some great music, but they will also be able to submit questions before the show. During the show, Sarah will answer some of them adding an interactive element to the show.

At the moment, only 8 dates have been announced. They might be testing the waters to see what the reception will be like, especially after a handful of Lilith dates had to be cancelled earlier this year. I for one hope that more dates get added. As far as who the Friends are, none of them have been announced at this point.
