Billie Joe Armstrong on Broadway
On September 25th, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day took to the band's official Twitter page and posted this little teaser…

Billie Joe will be playing the role of St. Jimmy, in the musical based on Green Day’s hit albums American Idiot and 21st century Breakdown. The original actor, Tony Vincent, has taken a personal leave of absence for a week. The timing couldn’t have been better for Billie Joe, as the band is currently on break. Green Day will be back on tour in South America starting October 8th, 2010.
Tonight was Billie Joe’s first night as St. Jimmy, and we’ve got some of the first pictures of him onstage:
