Evanescence Album Due Out In October

Amy Lee of Evanescence announced, via her Twitter page, the release date for the long awaited follow-up to the 2006's The Open Door; the yet to be titled album will be out October 4.

Lee also went on to announce that Troy McLawhorn is back with Evanescence. Back in 2007, Troy joined the group along with Dark New Day bandmate, Will Hunt, to fill in for John LeCompt and Rocky Gray. After the tour with Evanescence, Troy joined the band Seether until his departure earlier this year. Seether frontman Shaun Morgan hinted at Troy's possible new gig a few months back, and now we have confirmation.
