Fyfe Dangerfield and Q Magazine Trying For World Record
Today, Fyfe Dangerfield, of the band Guillemots, is working with Q Magazine in an attempt to set a world record by putting together a song with the most contributors in the shortest amount of time. The aim is to write and record a song--in 24 hours--in aid of War Child, a charity that strives to empower children and young people to flourish within their communities and overcome the challenges of living with, and recovering from, conflict.
But there's more: you can be a part of this.
Dangerfield is "crowdsourcing" the lyrics, ideas, and samples for the song via Q Magazine's Twitter account, so send your ideas there and get involved. You'll even get listed in the credits!
If everything goes as expected, the finished song will be released tomorrow afternoon with all proceeds going to War Child. It will also get its first play on Q Radio within seconds of the song's completion. Don't miss your chance to be a part of history, and to help the charity.
