How did Amy Winehouse die?
We're taking this with a grain of salt, but The Sun is reporting (via People) that Amy Winehouse had quit drinking and sobered up cold turkey in the month leading to her death. This sudden abstinence caused such a shock that it led to her eventual death and membership to the unlucky 27 club.
Her father, Mitch, told mourners at the funeral that Amy was ignoring doctors' orders to stop drinking gradually to avoid heavy withdrawal.
An early autopsy of Amy's body was deemed inconclusive so we'll have to wait for a couple of months for a more thorough diagnosis.
At the time of her death, Winehouse had two full length albums that were recorded with a third that was in production but incomplete. No word on when these records will be available, it's up to her family at this point.
