Foo Fighters Show To Be Picketed By Westboro Baptist Church

Members of the Westboro Baptist Church are taking a break from picketing soldiers funerals so they can attend a Foo Fighters show. Unfortunately, they have no intentions of rocking out, instead they'll be picketing outside the Sprint Center in Kansas City because according to them, Foo Fighters "have a platform and should be using it to encourage obedience to God; instead they teach every person who will listen all things contrary to him: fornication, adultery, idolatry, fags".

Check out the full statement from the Westboro Baptist Church below:

The entertainment industry is a microcosm of the people in this doomed nation: hard-hearted, hell-bound, and hedonistic. These people have a platform and should be using it to encourage obedience to God; instead they teach every person who will listen all things contrary to him: fornication, adultery, idolatry, fags. The people in this nation have sinned away their day of grace and have so enraged their God that you are seeing new outpourings of his wrath continually. We will be there to remind you that the day of your destruction is upon you, even as you vainly seek comfort in the frivolities of this life.

As mentioned earlier, the WBC has a reputation for being shit stirrers by picketing the funerals of fallen soldiers and members of the LGBT community with signs reading "Thank God for dead soldiers" and "God hates fags". If that wasn't enough, they also have plans on picketing during the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

I guess they weren't fans of this video?
