The Goo Goo Dolls are an American alternative rock / post-grunge band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York. It's currently formed by John Rzeznik (songwriter, guitarist and vocalist), Robby Takac (bassist) and Mike Malinin (drummer). They have released 8 albums, one of them, Dizzy Up The Girl, recieved 3x Platinum status[1], becoming their most succesful album to date. The album featured some of Goo Goo Dolls' most popular songs, like "Iris", "Slide", "Dizzy" and "Black Balloon."
