Dark New Day

Dark New Day is an American hard rock band that formed in 1995, disbanded, and re-formed in late 2004. The band was originally formed in 1995, by five people: Brett Hestla of Virgos Merlot, Troy McLawhorn of Doubledrive, Clint Lowery of Sevendust, Corey Lowery of Stereomud, Stuck Mojo, and Will Hunt of Skrape. But they didn't make a record through the years because the members were in different bands until they came together again in 2004. The band is considered a sort of supergroup considering the fact that all five members have spent time in nu-metal and hard rock groups of varying success, although the band members disagree with this classification, largely because, with the exception of Sevendust, none of their prior projects fared very well commercially.
