Shaking Judy Biography

Shaking Judy (Rob Hutcheson [vocals/guitar], Mike Shetzer [vocals/bass], Jeremy Turowetz [drums]) is a Montreal-based band that has been steadily evolving over the past 6 years. Their sound stems from a variety of influences, from blues to rock to metal, and every show they play is brimming with energy and passion. The band released its first EP, Songs for Apollo, in 2006. The release of the album was followed by a VideoFact grant to shoot a video for the song “On the Run,” which aired nationally on MuchMusic and helped solidify a devoted fan base. Demos Volume 1 (6 songs) was released in 2009, and Demos Volume 2 (7 songs) will be released at a live show in Montreal on July 16, 2011. The full-length album will be recorded and released in Summer 2011.
