Without further ado, here are UpVenue’s picks for the best stoner songs.

10Cypress Hill - Want To Get High

It’s really hard finding a song from Cypress Hill that isn’t about weed. Seriously, look through their repertoire and you will see that these guys celebrate cannabis day all year round. We've decided to go with Want To Get High which was also featured in the movie Half Baked.

Choice Lyric:
Forward motion
Make you sway like the ocean
The herb is more than just a powerful potion
What’s the commotion

9Bob Marley - Kaya

Bob Marley got Jamaican reggae on the map and his love for ganja didn’t hurt his success. Kaya is just another word for marijuana and here is Marley’s tribute to leaf.

Choice Lyric:
I feel so high, I even touch the sky
Above the falling rain
I feel so good in my neighbourhood, so
Here I come again

8Neil Young - Roll Another Number

Here’s an oldie but a goodie. Roll Another Number is the perfect song to lie down on the lawn to and enjoy a newly lit splif.

I feel able to get under any load.

I'm not the only one.
If Mary wanna play around,
I let her have her fun.

6Tom Petty - You Don't Know How it Feels

This song was banned from TV when it was released because of the drug references; well this isn’t television now is it? Enjoy Tom’s joint song.

Choice Lyric:
So let's get to the point, let's roll another joint
And let's head on down the road

5The Beatles - I Am The Walrus

Lennon confirmed that the first part of “I Am The Walrus” was written on an acid trip and we can’t possibly imagine how this song in its final form would have existed otherwise. The later parts of the song aren’t very subtle as “Everybody smoke pot” is repeated over and over.

Choice Lyric
Everybody smoke pot! Everybody Smoke Pot!
