Blink 182 to tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer

Earlier this year, Blink 182 announced that they had finally reunited and would begin touring this year. Not much more was said and fans have eagerly waited any new tidbits or news. Well the silence is over.

Today, in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, it was confirmed that both Weezer and Fall Out Boy will be opening up for Blink’s 2009 summer tour. The tour is set to begin on July 24th and will run through until October. No venues or individual dates were given.

While pop rock may sound like an oxymoron, these three bands helped define the term in the late 90s and early 2000s. It’s great to see Blink back and we wish them the best on their summer tour.
