Heavy Montreal Announces 2019 Lineup

Slayer, Ghost, Godsmack, Evanescence, Slash, Anthrax, Killswitch Engage and more are set to hit Montreal this summer

Late last year, organizers of Heavy Montreal announced that Slayer would be returning to Montreal to play their last show in Quebec, and today, the rest of the lineup has been announced.

Joining Slayer this year as headliners are Ghost, who at the moment have Montreal listed as their only North American stop this year. Godsmack, who are no strangers to Heavy Montreal will return in 2019 alongside Anthrax, who played at the first Heavy Montreal back in 2008 and again in 2011.

First timers Evanescence will also hit the stage, and who knows, maybe we'll get a taste of some new music since they're set to begin work on a new album later this year. Slash, Steel Panther, In This Moment, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, Skillet, and so many others will round up this stacked lineup.

Heavy Montreal takes place July 27th and 28th at Parc Jean-Drapeau. While early bird tickets went on sale back in December, you can still purchase passes via the Heavy Montreal website.
